Using What I've Learned
So after my first day in the office, I have been assigned with my first project of my three weeks here. To understand the project, let me first tell you guys about some of the things TeamWork Online does outside of the office. Since the company tries to coach their users to make themselves better applicants for the jobs that they want to have in a sports team, they set up these Teammate Networking Events with sports teams and invite applicants and executives so they can network there. TeamWork Online then sells tickets to these applicants and has a revenue off of that. My project pretty much is to use statistical analysis to analyze what exactly drives these ticket sales. I first compiled all the emails sent, emails opened, open rate, click rates onto an excel document since there are 4 different emails they used, we wanted to see which email was the most effective. Coming up next, I am going to calculate in the market size, the team name, and the social media traffic for each team to see what ways we can most efficiently market these networking events to make it worth it.

Isaac,
ReplyDeleteTeamWork Online seems like a cool business that fits directly into work we have done over the years at Hawken! Good thing we had stats this year! I'm interested to see the different effects these emails have on customers and if it actually makes that much of a difference. It's amazing what a simple change in words or graphics can do to the eyes, especially through the internet. Hopefully we will hear more about your adventures through TeamWork Online and the important statistical analysis you will be doing in the upcoming days!
Good luck!
