Today I met the last of the five phenomenal women I get to work with. Alex Jamieson is a blogger, published author, vegan chef, and food lifestyle coach. But, most people know her as the 'crazy vegan girlfriend' who cured Morgan Spurlock in
Supersize Me after he went on a 30 day McDonald's binge. Here is the official statement from her website AlexandraJamieson.com:
Alex Jamieson is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor accredited
through the Columbia University Teacher’s College and the American
Association of Drugless Practitioners.
She has completed the professional chef training at The Natural
Gourmet Institute, and is the author of The Great American Detox Diet,
Vegan Cooking for Dummies, and Living Vegan for Dummies.
Her approach to holistic health undid the damage Morgan Spurlock’s
30-Day McDonald’s binge did to his body in the Oscar-nominated
documentary Super Size Me, and she has spoken on Oprah, CNN, and MSNBC.
She currently blogs at Dr. Oz’s ShareCare.com and The Huffington
Post. A full list of publications in which Alex has been featured can be
found here.
I'm really excited to be working with Alex. She is currently looking to double her number of Facebook fans (10,000 by the end of the summer!) and she is also working on launching a new book. She's an awesome, enthusiastic person, and I might be inspired enough to try making one of her hemp recipes (you heard me,
hemp). Everyone should check out her website!
