Interesting Day

This week has been hectic since 9a.m. Monday morning. We started the week off with a lock down of the building as an employee was fired for sleeping on the job and became aggressive/threatening. Thankfully the police were called and the lockdown only lasted for a few hours in which during that time my sponsor and I were able to accomplish much needed paper work and organize future events and outings that the clients are going to attend. Recently we have been invested in a music therapy program that begins June 4th at 1 p.m. which I will also be going to (separate from my senior project) to help out at! The music therapy program is called Groovy Garfoose and the sole mission of The Groovy Garfoose is to empower and enrich children, teens & adults with special needs through music. We still have a lot to accomplish before this program begins and have many busy weeks ahead of us!
